Further information

Coming Events

The Combined Friends program of events lists coming events for all UWA Friends groups. The latest update will be available soon.

The University is home to a variety of Friends groups. These groups enable the community to be involved in life at UWA.

Friends groups

Friends of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery
The Friends are an integral part of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery, providing support for its activities ranging from acquisition of works to providing artistic and technical facilities.
Friends of the E. de C. Clarke Earth Science Museum
The Friends have a common interest in Earth Science. They work to increase public awareness of the science of geology and the existence of the Museum through volunteering to staff it from 2 pm until 5 pm every Sunday afternoon.
Friends of UWA Music
Friends of UWA Music provide the community with an opportunity to support our talented young musicians.
Friends of the UWA Library
The Friends of The University of Western Australia Library have been supporting the Library since 1966 by increasing community interest and by acquiring donations for it.
Friends of the Grounds
The Friends of the Grounds, established by the University through the Hackett Foundation in 2000, enhance the grounds through an annual program of activities.
UWA Historical Society
You are invited to celebrate our university history.
Friends of UWA Albany
The Friends of UWA Albany is a support group of about 170 people, generally members of the community, including UWA alumni, who wish to support UWA at its southern campus. Friends Members contribute to fundraising by organising events and/or volunteering for activities, and the group also organises the biennial Amity Lecture as well as philosophy cafes and sandwich seminars.
