With only one per cent of the Berndt Museum's collections on display, UWA is raising funds to construct a building that will be a fitting home for this magnificant work.
The Berndt Museum of Anthropology's collection is one of the world's most important and finest collections of Indigenous art, currently located in a small basement on UWA's Crawley campus.
The dramatic growth of the Berndt Museum of Anthropology's collections over the past 30 years has resulted in a chronic lack of exhibition and storage space.
An urgent solution is required to make the powerful artworks held in the Museum accessible, enabling them to inspire the people of Australia and beyond.
